Use the Trezor Suite for your browser or download the PC app
How to connect Trezor to your phone
Until recently, there were only two options:
- Option one was to use WebUSB. To do this, insert your Trezor device into a smartphone or tablet (Android-based) running the Google Chrome browser with the webUSB function enabled. Then you should open the web page https://wallet.trezor.io. Subsequently, the process is no different from using this device on a computer.
- The second option is to use third-party applications. For example, you can use Sentinel, Mycelium, Walleth. Detailed information about compatible software solutions can be found on the official Trezor website at: https://trezor.io/learn/a/trezor-on-android.
As of today, Trezor has launched an app for Android and iOS! The app is available for download in the Play Market and App Store.
But be very careful. Download the app only by following the link from the official Trezor website, because there have been repeated cases of fake apps.
In 2021, a fake app called “trezor” appeared in the Play Market with hundreds of positive reviews. Users who downloaded it instantly lost all their money. Despite the obvious fraud and forgery, the app continued to be available for a long time.
Fake apps allegedly created by SatoshiLabs repeatedly appeared in the AppStore, as well as in Play Market. According to the Washington Post, in March 2021, a French crypto investor downloaded such a fake version from Apple’s store and immediately lost all of his $600,000 in savings. As with Android, the fake app had a 5-star rating and excellent reviews.
